We understand that you may have questions about your Dimplex product. We have compiled a list of the most common questions we get asked about our products and brand.
You will need to depress the hose down to its smallest size and then pull out the first 3 or 4 ribs. Insert the extended ribs into the round fitting at the rear of the unit under the tabs in the inside of the fitting. Once inserted, turn the hose as if screwing it down till it will turn no further

Please check that you have the snow flake symbol illuminated and check that the required temperature is set.
Ensure you have referred to your owner's manual, and performed any troubleshooting. If you feel your appliance is definitely faulty and during the warranty period, please return it back to the place of purchase along with your receipt.

The timer will need to be set up to operate until midnight, and then from 00.10 to the required shut off time. For example set from 18.00 to 24.00 and then from 00.10 to 7.00 am
The timer will need to be charged as per the Instruction book
Some of our models have a battery in the timer, that when flat, will prevent the heater from turning on. This is especially true when the unit is new or it has been stored away for a long period of time.
The models are: 1.5 kW Premium Eco Column Heater with Remote (OFRC15ECCB), 1.5 kW Eco Column Heater (OFRC15TIB), 1.5 kW White Eco Column Heater (OFRC15TIW), 2.4 kW Black Eco Column Heater (OFRC24TIB), 2.4 kW White Eco Column Heater (OFRC24TIW), and the 2.4 kW Premium Eco Column Heater with Remote (OFRC24ECCB).
Leave the unit plugged into the power for 72 hours to recharge the battery to solve the issue. Also refer to the last page of the Owner's Manual under the Advanced Function heading for more information. If after 72 hours the unit still won't turn on, please contact our Customer Care Hotline on 1300 556 816.
